Jordan and Nick ended up eloping at The Grand Bohemian Hotel in Charlotte. the funny thing is that this was not even close to their original plan! when Jordan and Nick reached out to me about shooting their wedding, it was 2019, C-19 was not a thing, and they were planning a big wedding at The Collectors Room in Southend. enter Covid. they decided to push their wedding back a year to May of 2021. February of 2021 rolls around, and Jordan + Nick decide to cancel their plans and elope at the courthouse in downtown Charlotte.

the night before their elopement, our plans change again. we were going to meet at the courthouse and shoot in Marshall Park, but the weather forecast was calling for rain all day. The Grand Bohemian Hotel was newly opened and absolutely beautiful- so I reached out, got an incredibly quick reply, and the rest was history. setting was absolutely perfect, and we got some of my favorite photographs EVER at the bar and on their rooftop. the rain stopped for a few minutes and we got to make some magic outside. that mural is everything!
