If you’ve been dreaming of a European-inspired wedding, but can’t quite make the trip across the world, you’re in luck! The Little Chapel at Haven Ridge brings that European magic right to the middle of North Carolina, without having to venture even 2 hours outside of Charlotte. This is by far one of the coolest venues I’ve worked at, so I of course have to try and convince you to get married there—just trust me, k?
All jokes aside, I seriously cannot recommend this venue enough to couples who want something a lil’ more luxurious, elevated, and refined than the traditional NC barn wedding. I’ve gathered the key info you need to know if you’re considering getting married at The Little Chapel at Haven Ridge, including the 3 different venue options, the best photo spots, and all the A’s to your FAQ’s.
Get ready, my friend, because your jaw is about to fall to the damn floor when you see how enchanting this amazing, family-run venue is!

Before I get TOO excited and start rambling about how dang beautiful this venue is, I figured it would be good to go over a few logistical details first, yeah?
The location of the Little Chapel is actually one of the best parts about it—it’s super private and hidden, tucked away on 56 acres of a private farm in Winston-Salem. It is truly a hidden gem that you wouldn’t be able to find if you didn’t know where to look, so it’s superrrr quiet and peaceful.
It’s also only 10 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem, 35 minutes from Greensboro, and 75 minutes from Charlotte! Meaning that, while it is secluded, it still remains easy to access from larger nearby towns and cities. So if you or any of your guests are traveling in for your wedding, no one will have to drive too far to find the Little Chapel.
Great q, we wanna make sure we can fit alllll your loved ones here for your party! The overall venue capacity is 125 guests, but that varies depending on the type of celebration you’re having:
The Little Chapel has a wide selection of packages to fit any type of wedding, so as long as you’ve got a guest count under 125, you’re golden.

Ok ok now that you know the Little Chapel can fit all your friends & fam, I am dying to tell you why I LOVE this venue so, so much! Here are 5 reasons why the Little Chapel at Haven Ridge is one of the best wedding venues in the area—and why I think it’s perfect for your celebration 😉
Sorry, I don’t think I put enough emphasis on that: this venue has romantic European vibes for DAYSSSS. It honestly feels like you’re tying the knot in the charming English countryside… except it’s right here in North Carolina. And even with how private this venue feels, you’re still only 10 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem—making it easy peasy for your guests to travel and find local accommodations!
This 56+ acre, family-owned sanctuary has such a whimsical, fairytale feel, with its rolling meadows, secluded backdrops, and stunning design at every turn. Throughout the grounds, you’ll find a wide range of timeless details and enchanting elements, from half-a-century-old English bricks to vibrant stained glass windows, and an onyx concrete dance floor to a Victorian-inspired greenhouse.

This property may be called the “Little Chapel,” but there is nothing little about the space… nor is the Chapel the only venue on-site. There are actually THREE gorgeous venues for you to choose from: the Chapel, of course, the Solarium, and the Courtyard & Lawn. All three venues together can accommodate up to 125 guests, and together, they provide year-round accessibility for weddings, rain or shine!
The Chapel is obviously the namesake of this venue, and that’s for a reason: it originally started out as a private sanctuary for the family who owns it, but was opened up for events in 2022. Now, it’s the centerpiece of the entire stunning property, alongside two other picturesque event spaces that pair with it beautifully!
This 16th-century-inspired stone chapel is a true historical treasure, made of centuries-old stained glass, 200-year-old clay roof tile, and 500-year-old medieval bricks from England. I’m not sure if you can tell by the number of times I just said “centuries” and “year-old…” but every square inch of this chapel is *vintage* in the best way. The family has done an incredible job of maintaining the old-world rustic charm of the church, while also transforming it into a contemporary, elegant event space for gatherings like yours!

Listen, if you thought the Chapel was beautiful… you’re in for a TREAT with the Victorian-inspired Solarium—the most spectacular, elegant greenhouse I have ever seen. This 1500-square-foot beauty is open, airy, and dreamy as heck, with its 360-degree views of the property and its surroundings.
Inside this climate-controlled space, you’ll find handcrafted chandeliers, French doors, and a stylish built-in dance floor, along with four patios that allow your party to extend outdoors. The Solarium is unreal at any time of day, but it’s especially magical at golden hour; those sunset views are to die for!

Last but certainly not least, we’ve got the Courtyard & Lawn—both of which are adjacent to the Chapel and Solarium, making it easy for your wedding to flow seamlessly between all three venues. Whether you host your ceremony out on the greenery, or opt for an indoor ceremony + an al fresco dining or cocktail experience, these areas are spacious, scenic, and inviting. Garden party soireé on the lawn, anyone?

As if the three venues don’t already offer enough amazing spots for your wedding photos… the nearly 60-acre estate is full of so many more! You could truly stop anywhere on this property and find a charming spot for portraits, be it the cascading waterfall, the creek, the lake, or the grove. Maybe even a few cozy snuggles by the fire pit, underneath the stars?! Trust me: you will NOT be short on fabulous places to take some snazzy, elegant newlywed portraits throughout the day.

There’s nothing better than a wedding venue that also doubles as a place to stay! It’s better on the budget, easier on the logistics, aaand more fun at the end of the night when you don’t have to worry about hopping in a car and driving elsewhere. The Inn at Haven’s Hideaway has space to accommodate 6 people, so the two of you and a few of your BFF’s could stay here after the party is over. The rest of your guests can stay at one of the nearby hotels that the Little Chapel partners with, most of which offer shuttles for easy transportation to & from the venue!
Finally, who doesn’t love a full-service wedding package that takes care of everything and everyone? The staff at the Little Chapel at Haven Ridge is phenomenal, ready to help you execute your special day and ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. Every package includes support from an event management team, as well as plenty of resources, amenities, and services to make your celebration unique & memorable AF! Plus, the venue only takes on one wedding per day, and two per week—meaning you will have their FULL attention, and complete privacy with the entire venue to yourselves.

Now that you’re totally in love with the Little Chapel and are probably dying to get married here, let’s go through a few FAQ’s about the venue to make sure it’s the right fit for you.
One of the most amazing things about the Little Chapel at Haven Ridge is that it’s a four-season wedding venue. Because the property has both indoor and outdoor spaces available for your wedding, you won’t have to worry about anything being ruined by poor weather or unexpected conditions. The Courtyard & Lawn are fully outdoors, while the Chapel and Solarium venues are both available year-round.
If it rains, you have a few options:
Short answer: yes!
Long answer: yes, as long as you get them approved in advance! The venue will provide you with a list of pre-approved and preferred vendors; any outside that list will need to be approved by the venue.
Yes, the venue requires a professional planner or month-of coordinator to be present at your rehearsal and for the full wedding day.
You bet there is! The property has two separate parking lots: one by the Chapel, with space for up to 15-18 cars, and one by the lakeside, with room for 45-55. ADA parking is available as well!
Heck yeah it is! You can bring your pups along for the festivities as long as they remain outdoors and leashed. It may be helpful to hire day-of pet care so you have somebody to watch over your fur babies when you’re busy, you know, getting married!

Wedding packages at the Little Chapel vary based on a few factors: time of year, day of the week (they only host weddings on Wednesdays & Sundays), and the size of your event. Below is a breakdown of their 2027 packages for elopements, microweddings, and weddings—though make sure to check their website for current, up-to-date numbers!
The Elopement & Microwedding package inclusions differ slightly from the two Wedding packages. Both Wedding packages include:
