I hope you are ready for a fun rooftop session! We did Jessica and Brandon’s engagement session on the roof with a killer red sports car that belonged to Brandon’s uncle. I love this unique idea for an engagement shoot, and I love how they styled it! They definitely had a clear vision of the day, which is always so helpful as a Charlotte engagement photographer.
I want all of my couples to have a great time and end up with photos they will love forever. When couples come in with a clear idea of what they want their session to look like, it helps me to make sure they get what they are looking for! Brandon and Jessica did just that. From the styled outfits to the sports car to the props, everything was planned out, and it made our time together effortless! We listened to Taylor Swift the whole time and just had a blast together.
The looks they chose were very reflective of their upcoming nuptials. Jessica wore a white, long-sleeved dress with red shoes. She accessorized with white cat-eye sunglasses, a pearl-studded white headband, and a veil. Her hair was kept simple and left down and straight. She made the bouquet for the shoot using seven roses to represent the seven years they have been together. So cute! Brandon kept things classy with a black suit and crisp white shirt. He accessorized with shades during the first part of the day together.
Some of my favorite photos of the day are the flash shots we got as the sun started to set. I love the way it changes the whole vibe and gives it a completely different look. I love to shoot engagement sessions because we get to hang out and have a good time together while we celebrate their love. This rooftop session was no exception! Thanks, Brandon and Jessica, for inviting me along to celebrate with you and capture these memories!
