this Providence Cotton Mill engagement session was one for the books. Deanna and Solomon are my BABES. I met Deanna in 2019 completely by chance. one of my friends was opening an online boutique, I was the photographer and Deanna was one of the models. we hit it off immediately and stayed in touch with NoDa Company Store dates (they have the best sangria.)

Their Story

Deanna and Solomon have been together for three and a half years, and they met when a business mentor of Solomon’s reached out to him to let him know he should take a sales meeting with an ADP rep (Deanna.) in their own words- “Solomon, being a new business owner (he owns Aruza Pest Control) was busy and ended up having to cancel the meeting but Deanna was determined to have the sales meeting so she insisted on meeting him at his office.  

After leaving the meeting with Solomon, she immediately called her friend to tell her about the hot guy she just met with. About 6 months later after she sold him on payroll services, they finally went on a first date, and the rest was history.”

Providence Cotton Mill Engagement Session

I was beyond honored when Deanna reached out to me and asked if I’d like to photograph their Raffaldini Vineyard wedding (see more about that here!) and their engagement session. it was an immediate yes from me. D + S wanted to get some different vibes for their engagement session, so we decided to do it at The Providence Cotton Mill. The Providence Cotton Mill is such an incredible space, and although I’ve photographed a few weddings there before, I’d never done a Providence Cotton Mill engagement session. and not going to lie, it was even more fun to have the huge space totally open for just us. they did two outfits (my favorite! it’s so fun to have variety.) we used both the Providence Cotton Mill’s indoor and outdoor spaces for their engagement session.
