this Raffaldini Vineyards wedding was one for the books. after waiting for what felt like forever…..we finally made it to Deanna and Solomon’s wedding day. if you haven’t yet- take this chance to read about Deanna and Solomon (and see photos from their engagement session, which was straight fire) here. this was one of my most anticipated weddings of the year, for a few different reasons:
August rolled around and I’m dying from anticipation. on the day of, I arrive to Raffaldini Vineyards way too early (which in the end really worked out) and started with the details, all the while noticing that the sky looked….sort of gray. and very cloudy. long story short: it rained. all day long. what did we do? we made it work. Deanna + her bridesmaids had a dance party. I photographed their first look under the awning. the ceremony was moved into the tent. everyone cried and drank Raffaldini wine and danced, and it was the best day. there were a few couples portraits that I didn’t get to create (namely, having Deanna in the vineyards in her fluffy and incredibly couture Winnie gown) but we can always go back. I can’t wait to get to photograph another Raffaldini Vineyards wedding.
